It’s excellent news for those who love the spooky tales. If you love horror thrillers and have never missed a film on the conjuring, here’s more of the horror stuff for you.

Lionsgate and CBS films bring you one of the most beautiful horror tales told ever through a spine chilling motion picture. Watch out for Scary stories to tell in the Dark in August, the film is all set to release on the 9th of the month across all significant multiplexes of the country.

The basis of the movie is on a children’s book series of the same name written by American author Alvin Schwartz. The narrative revolves around the life of a little girl named Sarah, who belongs to the Bellows family. The family lives in a mansion in a quaint small American town, way back in 1968.

Sarah grows up through a tortured life and heart filled with horrible secrets in her terrifying home. The author turns the life experiences of this young girl into a series of horror tales.

A group of teenagers discover this mansion, and in the beginning, what seemed like an adventure soon becomes all too alive and real. A teenager discovers a book in the mansion. The book has a series of handwritten stories. As they read through the stories, they realize the stories have a strange way of coming true.

The 111 minutes duration film made with a budget of USD 40 million is an international co-production between USA and Canada stars. Andre Ovredal is the director of the film.

Dan and Kevin Hageman have adapted the screenplay of the film from earlier scripts written on the series. The film casts talented actors. Kathleen Pollard has enacted the character of Sarah Bellows.

The official trailer of the movie released on June 3 has crossed 230,000 views. The movie is PG 13.
