Joker Movie is All Set to Amaze Theatres Next Month

Joker is a Hollywood Movie based on a sinister comic character, famed as a supervillain in the fictional city of Gotham. The upcoming standalone Movie, unlike other comic book films, promises a rare intense experience hardly seen on the big screen before. Conceived in 2016 by Todd Phillips, the screenplay was co-written with Scott Silver; the film is inspired by characters in the novel Batman – the Killing Joke. 

Synopsis:

Set in the year 1981, the story develops around Arthur Fleck in and as the Joker. It is a psychological thriller narrating a chilling story of how a failed stand-up comedian is shunned by society and is driven insane. He turns to a life of crime resulting in chaos in the city of Gotham.

• Joaquin Phoenix: A mentally unsound comedian, whose failures transform him into a criminal, Arthur Fleck / Joker.
• Robert De Niro: The host of a talk show who plays a role in the downfall of the Joker, Murray Franklin.
