The Invisible Man Trailer is Out!

January 24 2020 , Written by Pratik Shelar

The much-awaited trailer for The Invisible Man is out now and to describe in one word; it is “Spooky”. The storyline is pretty much similar to the earlier adaptations to the H.G. Wells novel of the same name. The trailer shows a more dark and broody version of the story and seems like a significant improvement on the 2000’s horror movie “Hollow Man” which was also based on the same novel.

By the looks of it, the story shows a woman who is being haunted by her ex-husband as she moves into a new house and finds out that her ex is not just dead yet and he has found a way to make him invisible and is back to take revenge on her. The rest of the story revolves around how he proves that she is insane and how he tortures her.

Elizabeth Moss impresses with her scared and sometimes even insane faces, and it leads us to believe that she will be the highlight of the movie. Aldis Hodge, Storm Reid and Harriet Dyer also seem to complement their roles.

The movie was supposed to be an addition to the Dark Universe started by the Tom Cruise starrer The Mummy, but due to its critical box office failure, that idea was dropped, and the movie will be released as a standalone feature.

Director Leigh Whannell is known for his scary vision in the Insidious and Saw series, and he is the perfect choice for directing such a movie.

The trailer looks promising enough and can be a treat to the horror genre lovers who were waiting for an original horror flick without the supernatural element. The mental asylum scenes in the trailer are the highlight, and it points towards a thrilling final act. This upcoming movie will be released in February next year all over the world.
